^^ a little blooper action for ya

We’re more than halfway through 2017! My goodness. As previously mentioned, I’m trying something new this year where I publicly publish my goals to hold me more accountable. So far its kind of working, kind of not haha. I was more on top of it when life wasn’t as full in California, but I’m still working on it now. Read below for July’s progress and you can check out my previous goal check ins:

The good:

  • I’m coming up on one whole year of training with Annie and I’m still loving it. She pushes me harder than I would push myself and I feel and look stronger than ever. I love having a plan and purpose in the gym. She makes all different types of programs so definitely check her out here if you’re interested. 
  • Getting back in the pool feels so good and I want to keep it up all fall + winter this year!

What I need to work on:

  • taking progress pictures – you guys I keep forgetting and its bad
  • retesting my pull ups!
  • I think I only went to yoga once in July? Anyone have tips for wanting to do yoga? I’m terrible.
  • nutrition – finding a good balance for me

  • charitable donations

  • I’ll be heading to Cincinnati to move my baby sister into college and watch my best friend graduate with her Master’s (all in the same day) later this month

What I need to work on:

  • Planning a Chicago weekend and hopefully a UP weekend!

That’s what I’m working with (for now!)

    I struggle with Yoga too. I know I should go a couple of times a week to help with my lifting and barre programming, but I just get so BORED in class. I’ve also decided I’m not “peaceful” enough for yoga. 🙂

      seriously. I don’t consider it a “real” workout so I always prioritize my other workouts over it (ugh!). I’m going to really really really try to get to a class this weekend haha.
