There’s no such thing as too much gingham, right?

I decided to “go big or go home” with the gingham in this look, and I actually love how it turned out. I’ve been a gingham fan for years, so I was thrilled when the print became even more popular this year. I’ve found so many adorable gingham pieces at numerous retailers, so I wanted to share a handful of them with you today. Gingham is definitely a preppy print, but with the right styling I think it can work with all different personal styles. I know that not everyone (read: no one else) wants to wear a gingham dress with gingham heels, so here are 5 ways to incorporate gingham into your summer style:

1.) Gingham sundress  — an easy way to look stylish with minimal effort (my favorite). Throw one of these cute dresses on with a pair of sandals + you’re set

2.) Gingham shoes –— If you’re not a fan of the full on gingham look, there are a handful of cute sneakers, sandals and heels out there to add a little pep in your step

3.) Gingham Handbags + Clutches — if you find a black or navy based gingham handbag, you could keep your outfits simple and let you accessory be the star of the show.

4.) Gingham Shirts — if your style tends to be more classic, a gingham button down is great piece to add to your closet. I shared an entire post here on how verastile mine is, and I promise you will get plenty of use out of it! For those who want something more playful – there are also plenty of gingham tops with ruffles, fun sleeves + embroidery out there as well. Click here to see one of my favorites!

5.) Gingham scarves — tie one in your hair, around your neck, on your purse, or use it as a belt. The options are endless!

So tell me, are you a gingham fan? What ways have you been styling gingham this spring?

Thanks for stopping by!

xo, Maddy

I actually just ordered the pink and the blue gingham blazers from J.Crew Factory (they’re currently on clearance for $38 each). 😉 Wish that dress was still available in my size! Love it on you!

Gingham is definitely a fave too! I love the double gingham look – the dress is amazing but those shoes are a must-have!
