“what are those?!”

“what are THOSE?!”

“they’re my party sandals. Don’t I look like I should eat tacos in these?”

That was our (almost) exact conversation when B looked down and saw these Zara sandals on my feet. We had stepped outside the apartment to snap these photos and somehow his eyes hadn’t made it all the way to my feet until photo number two. And then the reaction happened; with him moving closer to get a good look at the “things” on my feet. The “things” are actually these pretty awesome (in my opinion) sandals from Zara. [Good news: they’re still on sale and available – get them HERE]

It’s no surprise I love statement shoes, bags & necklaces. They are versatile & so much easier to style and remix than brightly printed dress (for example). My closet is full of black and white stripes, some florals, a few black and white polka dot pieces, and a plethora of solid colored items. This allows me to mix and match pieces frequently, and I can change the complete “look” of an outfit by switching out the bag, shoes or accessories. I’m thinking about doing an entire post dedicated to just that – switching accessories to change up a look – is that something you would like to see?

Also – gentleman – I didn’t forget about you – as of now Cassidy Lou is looking to add some men’s fashion to the repertoire in November 2016. Coming soon 🙂

I love how bright and colourful this outfit is! Those sandals are SO cute (and apparently, the perfect taco-eating shoes…because who knew that was a thing).
