Trend #3 – Mixed Prints

Today I’m showing you a fun way to spice up your office attire…pattern mixing! I love love love mixing prints. If you’re afraid of mixing prints I’ve got a few tips for you.

1. Have one print be smaller + one larger [the small gingham helps to balance the large flowers]

2. Have one print be more neutral ย [Examples = black+ white thin stripe, navy +white gingham, etc]

3. Have one color that ties in [Example = both my pants + top have navy]

4.ย Don’t give a damn what anyone else thinks of your print mixing

There you have it – my key steps for pattern mixing…mainly #4. Its your clothing + your style; if you like your outfit, then thats all that matters. (as long as no inappropriate body parts are hanging out – please + thank you).

I am currently one happy lady because both my huge projects/presentations are done for the week + I’m lounging on the couch eating chips + salsa. And I have NO WHERE I have to go tonight (except the gym).

I hope your Wednesday evening is as uneventful as mine ๐Ÿ™‚

PS. ** This coming Monday (November 17th), Lauren, Danielle + I will be hosting our #stylememonthly linkup and the theme is blazers ๐Ÿ™‚ join us!

Thank you! Don’t be scared, just give it a try. Black and white stripes with a floral scarf is an easy way to start
